Finance Director
Hays Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Financial Director to take the lead and work closely with many areas of the business in regards to Commercial Contracts. You will partner with Financial Systems Group Presidents, Sales Teams, Division and Group Financial Officers, Business Unit/Product Unit Financial Analysts and managers, the legal departments and Revenue Accounting Centres.
An exciting time to join the business, you will be required to build a team to take responsibility for the Opportunity to Invoice cycle of a contract. This means being involved right from initial contact with the customer through to the delivery of a signed contract.
You will be required to manage the team that provides assistance to the sales and legal teams in the structuring and negotiating of new contracts, concerning revenue recognition for multi faceted software license and service contracts. You will ensure that revenue is recognised appropriately according to US GAAP and company policy by overseeing direct communication with the Revenue Assurance Department and Revenue Accounting Centres.
Working closely with the Group CFO you will provide revenue forecasting and also play in key role in the due diligence of target acquisitions. This really is a business critical role.
Requirements:
*Alongside having the experience detailed above, you will be degree educated (Finance, Engineering, Accounting or Project Management)
*Qualified Accountant
*US GAAP
*Six Sigma Green or Black Belt training highly desirable
*Extensive experience working within a software business in order to have an understanding of the complexities this type of industry brings
*Strong financial understanding
*Staff management, including motivation, recruitment and training of a large team, upto 25.
