The Responsibilities

Situated at the top of our client's dynamic accounting team, on a daily basis you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist the Managing Director in the development and implementation of strategies and value-added projects for the company - which supports you to take the place number 1 within the group in the coming years
• Manage the finance department - which allow you with a team of 10 people to produce and interpret relevant and realistic figures which afford you to advise people in the board level. Therefore, you will be responsible of :
-Regular month-end reporting, budget planning and strategic planning processes
-Half-yearly and annual financial statements according to IFRS guidelines
-The entire audit process
• Be in charge of our client's financial reporting and budget - which will allow you to show autonomy, self-confidence and expertise to produce with your team :
- Internal reporting
- Analysis and evaluations
- Monthly forecasts
- Active cost controlling processes
• Be a key point of contact within the group - which offers you a direct and close contact with the Group CFO and therefore to allow you to have a clear and a global picture of our client's business through :
- Intercompany accounts reconciliation and consolidation
- Risk management reports
- New projects development and participation
• Manage the IT team - which gives you the possibility to support members to improve our client's handmade ERP, financial and reporting systems

The Competencies

• The potential to take actively part in our client's evolution, growth and success
• A high sense of responsibility and the ability to believe in your skills as a leader, a Head of Finance, and a commercial player in the organisation
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and coordination attitude to thrive within the amount of autonomy given
• At least 8 years gained in business / finance / controlling and accounting for facing on complex matters from beginning to the end
• IT literate and proven ability to use IT technology to facilitate, automate and improve ERP systems
• Strong commercial sense and experience which easy you all contacts inside and outside the company (teammates, clients, suppliers, ...)
• An international exposure which give you the chance to interact with people everywhere and get information that you need to evolve in your job
• IFRS knowledge to deal regularly with your parent company
• Fluent business English and French (German is a real advantage) to be able to interact with all your future colleagues
• A personality to take on initiatives, solve many problems in order to accomplish your objectives
