Finance Director recruitment
Investigo are representing a leadding Global Bank in their search for a Finance Director to serve the Group HR Director as well as Central Finance, Treasury and Tax Functions. You will develop, maintain and manage a trusted and highly competent Finance partnering service, to include, the Management Reporting, Planning, Decision Support and Financial Control:
- Creating joined up data for management reporting and decision support for the function globally
- Building relationships across the Group and managing senior stakeholders
- Balancing the issues of building/changing
- Driving change across relevant finance processes
Key Accountabilities inclue:
- Lead and manage monthly management reporting, analysis and commentary
- Own the quarterly planning process
- Analyse, challenge and report on HR plans
- Provide finance analysis and evaluation to support strategic, investment and commercial decisions
- Optimise HR cost base.
- Lead manage the annual cycle of reporting and control processes
- Quarterly disclosures for pensions as well as deferred income in shares and cash
- Maintain an expert knowledge of relevant policy and regulation including; IFRS2, IAS19, deferred income disclosures, SOX, intercompany accounting, account ownership and reconciliation, operational risk
- Identification resolution of risks
- Share based payments - calculation of IFRS2 charges, National Insurance, amortisation of own shares
- Pensions Accounting - calculation of ledger postings for whole Group and communication of ledger postings
- Functionality of system logic and datasets
- Understand future requirements
- Lead change projects
- Team Leadership
