FINANCE DIRECTOR recruitment
The finance Director will globally be responsible for all of the financial, administrative, accounting, fiscal and controlling related issues over the operations in Kenya.
His main areas of responsibilities will include :
- Planning, organizing and directing the financial management of the activities of the finance department;
- Supervising the administration of accounting and financial reporting, employee accounting and financial systems (IFRS);
- Internal auditing, revenue collections;
- Risk management and treasury and investment management and property control;
- Coordinating review and resolving any audit questions with external auditors;
- Assisting insurance program with the other departments with the development and implementation of financial systems;
- Preparing yearly budgets and analysing variance reports;
- Giving advice management on all financial matters;
- Establishing and maintaining all financial and accounting systems;
- Supervising the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements;
- Supervising the preparation of other reports of the fiscal condition;
- Assisting in the financial planning and development of various projects;
- Making and preparing revenue projections;
- Supervising relations and negotiation with financial instruction.
Who we are looking for
You possess a University degree in Corporate Finance, Business school with a corporate finance major. An accounting qualification is a plus.
You have at least 8 years overseas experience in a senior financial position, ideally in an industrial activity (cement, agri-business, wood, ...).
A strong experience in management of individuals who have different levels of ability and knowledge is needed.
Fluency in English and Portuguese are essential. French is a plus.
You have a strong and a clear communication and a great sense of adaptability.
