Finance IT Manager recruitment

Job Responsibilities:

Managing the Projects and Support Team for Finance Systems e.g. General Ledger processing, BIS II and MIS, supporting the Asia Regional Financial Control departments
Manage a team of application developers to meet regional business requirement
Responsible for resource planning for maximum utilization of resources in projects as well as coverage of support agreement with business as perSLA.
To co-ordinate local and regional BCP tests of the Finance IT-systems.
Manage IT projects from various business lines and support departments (Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Financial Control, etc)
Responsible for defining and managing project scope, organization, budget and resource planning, forecasting, quality, documentation, communication and risk management.
Manage projects covering implementation of new applications aligned with business change, new and upgrade projects, legacy system decommissioning/replacement and maintenance and enhancement of application systems.

Experience required:

Minimum 8 years working experience within IT industry of which 3 years within Financial Industry.
Good understanding of transaction processing-, settlement, GL, MIS and payment systems.
Prince2 certification
Experience in SDLC and familiar with finance systems
Excellent communication skills.

Have in-depth knowledge about the end-users business processes and products in the Finance Control environment of a bank.
Strong knowledge of General Ledger, PL reporting, regulatory reporting, management information reporting and accounts payable systems.
Experience in business and system analysis, design / development processes and testing
Knowledge in investment banking products, FX, MM, Derivatives and Fixed Income.
