Finance Manager
Pioneering and well known name in the world of Alternative Funds Management seeks a Finance Manager for a newly created role in their group reporting team. This firm is a well known and first class outfit able to offer exceptional long term progression. The calibre of individuals in finance is second to none with a reputation built on being top of their game. Their core focus remains in private equity, debt fund management and a range of similar investment strategies with scope to offer a truly varied career.
Responsibilities will include:
* Monthly / quarterly Board reporting and analysis of consolidated results
* Leading the half year and annual statutory process in terms of reviewing accounts and adding final notes or adjustments to disclosures
* Key point of contact for Auditors
* Preparing quarterly Risk Committee reports
* A key technical subject matter expert in terms of IFRS, AIFMD, FCA reporting etc..
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
* A key internal relationship manager looked to as the main 'go to' in Group Finance. * This will include building significant relationships with front office and non finance colleagues.
* Staff management
Your background:
* ACA or CA qualified (or equivalent) and likely from a Large Audit firm or from a similar role at another private equity firm or asset manager.
* Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to write insightful and value adding commentary
* Driven, motivated and career minded. Looking to move on from this role internally within 2 years.
* First class communication skills and adept at building up productive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
