About Our Client
Our client is a European-based international bank with a presence globally. This position is primarily associated with the Corporate Banking business based out of Singapore, and you will also have some regional/international exposure.
Job Description
This is a senior level position reporting to the divisional head as well as European HQ. You will work across all areas of Finance - particularly financial and management reporting - as part of an international team. This team is responsible for changing the system to accommodate changes in IFRS, IFRS9 and the specific requirements of both Singapore's MAS and Europe's HQ.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a candidate that meets most of the following criteria:
- CA/CPA or relevant Masters qualification
- Prior experience in External Audit and/or Management Consulting
- Current/Recent experience in Financial Services OR leading MNC
- Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting for Financial Instruments
- Basic knowledge of IFRS9 desirable, but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects across different locations, time-zones and cultures
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Able to start in Early-2012 for a 1 year duration (note - this engagement is highly likely to be extended, but is not a permanent position)
