Finance Manager Job in Sheffield, Yorkshire UK
Our client is a successful manufacturing business based in Sheffield. As a result of internal promotion they are currently looking to recruit a new Finance Manager on a full time permanent basis.
You will report to the Financial Director where you will be responsible for the day to day running of finance team. You will have experience within manufacturing as well as understanding UK and European markets.
Day to day duties will include;
Production of monthly management accounts
Providing and interpreting financial information
Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
Analysing change and advising accordingly
Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
Analysing competitors and market trends
Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts including auditors and solicitors,
Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
Managing and preparing budgets.
Candidates who wish to be considered will be either Qualified CIMA/ACA or ACCA. However, candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered for the position.
