For the corporate Finance department in Zurich, we are looking for senior finance professional for the newly created Finance Manager position including the management of a small, highly skilled Commercial Finance team .
Finance Manager (m-f) Zurich Area
In this position, you are responsible for providing Financial Leadership to secure significant value for the business. This includes responsibility for Strategic Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting. The role also encapsulates a significant amount of hands on decision support and influencing and leading the commercial agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Commercial Finance Team ensuring that employees have appropriate goals and deliver consistent quality outputs
- Develop and continuously improve management reporting to provide insight and drive decision making
- Act as a Business Partner, provide strong decision support to the organization
- Ensure a healthy pipeline of procurement initiatives is maintained over a 3 year horizon
- Provide strong commercially biased financial insight to ensure the return on investments are clearly understood
- Forecasting, budgeting and reporting the performance and impact of Procurement
- Ensuring the effectiveness of financial operating interfaces with customers and suppliers
- Identifying opportunities to eliminate procurement process inefficiencies and measure the improving performance internally and against appropriate external benchmarks
- Supporting the continuous improvement of all Information Systems
- Manage significant commercial and finance projects especially in the area of Working Capital improvement and Transfer Pricing
- Develop internal communication internally with regional Finance Teams, Financial Controller, Procurement VPs, Directors and Managers, Group financial reporting teams as well as externally with Suppliers and their accounting teams External Audit
Ideal candidate should have following Knowledge and Experience ..
- Experience in financial accounting, management accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
- Experience in SOX and compliance
- Commercial Finance/Decision support Experience
- Experience with financial modeling tools and processes
- Leading on Business Partnering to drive better commercial outcomes
- Understanding of direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing
- Understanding of treasury management including accounting for and reporting on foreign exchange and commodity risks, hedges and exposures
- Familiarity with information technology systems, controls and processes associated with the Finance function, especially SAP and Hyperion.
