Finance manager c55-60K - Immediate Start
11 Month Contract
Duties Responsibilities
- Timely preparation of accurate monthly management accounts Responsibility for the overall management of Payroll and Accounts Payable
- Maintain and develop the financial systems
- Carry out quarterly forecasting analysis on all areas within the business
- Proactively develop and prepare the annual budget for the company
- Carry out and prepare for the annual external audit
- Ensure year end accounts are accurately prepared for the company
- Deal with external parties up to and including banks, auditors, and IT consultants
- Maintenance implementation of adequate internal financial controls
Competencies
- Strong team player with an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with staff at all levels from both a financial and non-financial background
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to operate and influence cross functionally within the company
- Previous experience in the management of teams is essential
- Attention to detail with a key focus in the accurate production of work
- Proactive, enthusiastic attitude to work and committed to continuous process improvement
- Able to work with minimal supervision, while maintaining the balance of keeping the Finance Director informed on all relevant issues
- Good problem solving skills required
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
- Management Experience in Industry
