The Company
A multi national financial institution with a strong Asia presence. This prestigious company is embarking on an ambitious three year project to automate accounting functions. Hong Kong is one of the major sites in the global pilot rollout. This is an excellent career opportunity to be part of a highly visible project.
The Role
There are four main areas of responsibility:
HelpDesk
- Understand and communicate with user groups on the root causes and impact;
- Provide regular dashboard and update to different management groups
- Work closely with different groups to understand production issues and resolution
- Oversee Support Desk Function
Daily Reconciliation
- Perform Daily Control activities which include analysis of variances of data
- Prepare and publish Daily Production Log
- Ensure the integrity of the financial platform is maintained on a daily basis
- Maintain SLA and ensure targets are met
- Support Group SOX audits
UAT Tester
- Responsible for the functional testing with the objective of improving quality. Work with Testing team to assist with the preparation of test plans, test scripts and the testing of software
- Responsible for all tests, test tools development and configuration management activities
- Evaluate, maintain and improve testing roles and responsibilities within the product development life-cycle
- Facilitate the development, implementation and adherence of testing department standards in partnership with other test team leadership
Security Administrator
- Secure financial applications by maintaining monitoring appropriate users' access based on their roles responsibilities within the organisation
- Responsible for initiating, driving through changes and testing in users' profile to support business needs
Your Profile
- University graduate in Finance or related disciplines
- At least 6 years' working experience in the banking industry (candidates with less relevant experience will be considered for Assistant Manager position)
- Sound knowledge of banking products and financial systems with proven ability to meet the service standards
- A professional accounting qualification is a definite advantage
- Good understanding of a complete project life cycle
- Strong QA and testing knowledge
- Immediately available is desirable and will be considered first
