Finance Operations Accountant
A leading Syndicate Insurer is looking for an operationally focussed technical accountant for an integral role within its Investment Reporting team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance Operations and Change you will liaise closely with the Investment Portfolio Manager to produce robust financial information through technical accounts provision and analysis, whilst being heavily involved in all ongoing and ad hoc finance related project work.
Given the nature of the role it is essential that you understand the full reporting process within an investment environment, and have the ability to deal with large volume (and often complex) data. You should be able to demonstrate a strong track record in data analysis and technical accounting, and exposure to US GAAP would be advantageous in your application. A relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA), or equivalent, would also support your application, as would an advanced level of excel knowledge.
