Finance Systems Analyst (Budgets and Planning)
A fast growing multi-national require a finance systems analyst for a 9 month Fixed Term contract to assist them following the implementation of a new budgeting system
To support the Budget and Planning process, managing consolidation and reporting processes and be system administrator for the organisations budget and planning application Prophix.
The role is 50% process and system administration and 50% budget and planning support and will suit a confident qualified accountant with experience in budget preparation who has excellent systems skills.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Complete the development of The organisation’s new planning system, Prophix to deliver optimal value and support the 2014 planning process
• Develop and test the planned enhancements for the application
• Create and design reports and templates
• Provide insightful information and analysis for performance monitoring and decision making
• Monthly actual routines and reporting
• Preparation of the 2015-2024 budget/plan schedules
• Ad hoc analysis to support business case analysis as part of the planning process
• Support the Decision Support and Analysis team by co-ordinating the budget consolidation and reporting process using Prophix
• Complete budget consolidation, reconciliation and reporting in order to meet key reporting requirements and planning deadlines with HQ.
• Resolve reconciliation issues between accounting systems (Navision, Prophix, AGR).
• As system administrator run all routine processes and support users in achieving the key budget and planning deadlines
• Manage system security and provide first line support
• Influence and support users at 7 locations, to help them make the best use of Prophix, including providing training on new tools
• Manage application software upgrades
• Maintain Prophix tools, including supporting documentation and vendor relationships
• Support and manage the UAT process and ensure best practice adherence in the control over roll-outs and go-live.
• Responsible for all system related queries, issues and changes

- Based near Slough
- European network – UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Sweden and Switzerland
- Some European travel may be required
- No Line Management responsibility
