Finance Systems Senior Analyst recruitment
The work will be varied and challenging with the primary focus being to provide stability and control during and after this exciting and fast moving change process. You will gain invaluable experience and exposure in this role.
We are looking for a candidate who has previously worked with accounting systems with a strong appreciation of control processes and governance. Specifically, the candidate should have a good appreciation implementing of SOX control processes and assisting with audits (internal or external). You need not have specific FS or Insurance experience to apply.
You will possess strong communication skills with a proven ability to handle a high workload.
- Ability to understand the aims and requirements of the wider business and how that impacts on Finance
- Experience of Finance Systems and their integration with other systems
- Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness suite
- Understanding of MI tools and the data integrity required for success
- Understanding of system maintenance cycles (patching, data archiving, disaster recovery provision)
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing of new systems and processes
- Produce documentation on both new and existing processes.
- Assist SoX, Internal and External Audit teams in completion of control testing for Finance Systems
- Oversee RBAC (Role Based Access Control) area and complete monthly sign off of all systems User Entitlement Reports.
- Identify, own and manage the risks involved in running our business appropriate to my role, in line with the RBS Insurance risk framework
