Finance Transformation Manager recruitment

Job purpose:

Responsible for the co-ordination of the target operating model implementation for the UK Finance team, liaison with the central project team. As part of the implementation of the UK annual Finance roadmap, design and implementation of local process, internal control and system improvement projects, in conjunction with BSIT to support management information and enhanced data analysis, as well as operational Finance developments.

Key accountabilities: 

• Responsible for coordination of information and implementation requirements of the Finance Strategy London Target Operating Model for the UK Finance team

• Responsible for the development, delivery and continuous improvement of a portfolio of local development projects for the UK Finance team

• Develop and participate in cross - business development projects and reporting from a UK Finance team perspective ( eg Retail Distribution Review).

• Ad hoc support to the Head of Finance Operations Projects in support of revenue and rebate processes and accounts payable and cash management processes

• Work with the UK Finance team managers to initiate and develop options to enhance process and systems efficiency

Key technical skills, experience and essential qualifications:

• Ideally a minimum of 5 year project and operational experience, preferably in an Consulting and/or Investment Management environment.

• Accounting experience with strong commercial focus and strategic awareness

• Self motivated and a team player, who is able to successfully resolve the conflicting priorities of project and routine tasks

• Ability to work under pressure and with good attention to detail

• Personable, able to communicate and influence at all levels within the firm            

• Proficient in use of core software packages, preferably to an advanced level
