Financial Accountant – Global Organisation

You will take total responsibility for providing financial support for various business units. Your main duties will include but not be limited to the following;
- Production of profit loss accounts, cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Providing commentary on any variances between actuals and the budget
- Overseeing the general ledger for various business units and ensuring the sales and purchase ledgers are balanced correctly
- Statutory reporting and ensuring compliance to accounting standards; adherence to SOX
- Liaison with various internal stakeholders and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to
In addition to the above duties you will be required to assist with project work from time to time including system implementation.
You will be CA or CPA qualified with at least 2 years' experience in either IT or telecommunications industries. Candidates from chartered practice will be highly favoured also. You will have exposure to a large ERP system in order to hit the ground running, and possess advanced MS Excel skills. With a strong knowledge of technical accounting, you will be up to date with relevant statutory requirements and experience with SOX. Top tier communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
