Multi-site market leading retail business has a key job available in Lancashire, commutable from Manchester, Liverpool and Preston, as a Financial Accountant.
The Financial Accountant will be tasked with producing all annual financial statements at both Group and individual company level, in addition to the quarterly consolidated financial statements and management reporting process. This role is at the centre of all financial reporting for the Group, and will involve liaising with the auditors, control and responsibility for a key area of the balance sheet, and preparation of key National Statistics, in addition to ad hoc roles as required by the Management Team.
The Financial Accountant will be a qualified accountant, probably ACA from a top 10 background with strong technical skills, IFRS and UK GAAP. You will have excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word ) and have experience of large-scale Group consolidations and year end statutory reporting. You will be well organised and meticulous, particularly focussed around accuracy and presentation. The Financial Accountant will be self-motivated and proactive, able to work in a high-achieving team and deliver to the highest standards.
