Financial Accounting Supervisor
Hays Senior Finance is currently working with an employer of choice on an exclusive basis to recruit for a Financial Accounting Supervisor. A key role within a busy finance team, you will oversee four staff in the financial accounting team to ensure reporting timetables are met and statutory reporting obligations are fulfilled.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in financial accounting or audit to make their mark in an organisation that can provide career development opportunities and excellent management support. You will be responsible for management of the financial reporting timetable, balance sheet reconciliation and analysis, managing the year-end reporting timetable and preparation of financial statements for core and subsidiary businesses.
The successful individual will ideally be a fully Qualified Accountant with experience of managing or mentoring staff. You must be a strong, technical Accountant and be accustomed to financial analysis and reconciliations. You will have excellent attention to detail with experience of working to tight deadlines. As the co-ordinator for the reporting process, your role will involve significant liaison with key stakeholders across the organisation and therefore strong interpersonal skills are essential.
