Requirements include a college degree with a minimum of 5 years financial advisory experience and insurance licensed with Florida. Successful candidate will need strong knowledge of investment portfolio management, investment policy statements, insurance consulting, along with the ability to identify and satisfy investment opportunities within a CPA firm's clientele. Appropriate licensing along with CFP® preferred but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Advisor (FA) will serve as an account manager and as a relationship manager for CPAs affiliated with HKFS. The Senior Financial Advisor will also act as liaison between HKFS and CPA clients to facilitate successful financial service practices for all HKFS clients, thus procuring business for HKFS, including gathering assets and selling insurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Essential job duties for this position include the following items.
- Facilitate development of strategic plan for marketing and development of financial services business for CPA client firms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Train CPAs in financial service areas, including: Investment Management, Life Insurance, Long-term Care Insurance and other insurance as needed, and in Broker/Dealer business, including Retirement Plans, Annuities, etc.
- Develop plans with CPAs to identify and contact prospects and set-up and attend meetings with clients and CPAs.
- Develop Investment Policy Statement with CPAs and clients, and determine client need and appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate paperwork development for recommended implementation vehicles.
- Meet with clients and CPAs as needed to present proposed solutions and complete paperwork and follow through on processes.
- Ensure CPAs provide timely and accurate follow-up with clients.
- Provide reports to clients, CPAs and HKFS in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete required Continuing Education credits.
- Handle multiple tasks and requests from multiple individuals and organizations.
- Recruit new firms as time permits.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, the Senior Financial Advisor must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with five years related experience and/or training with investment services preferable. Strong computer skills and knowledge of programs to perform the essential duties required. Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, CRM Database, PowerPoint, Email and Internet Usage preferred.
Licensing:
- Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65) with Series 6 or 7 and 63 or 66 with Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses which includes Life, Health and Long-Term Care in some states and CFP preferred but not required.
