Financial Analyst - Commissions
RESPONSIBILITIES - Perform support activities needed for the implementation, communication, and administration of sales commissions and incentive programs, plans, and policies. - Administer EMC's Sales Compensation Plans. - Process and submit monthly commission payouts within specified deadlines for assigned sales team(s). - Validate and audit monthly commission data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Research and resolve questions raised by corporate and field sales management and sales reps regarding payments. - Identify and communicate commission issues in a timely fashion. - Perform ad hoc commission analysis. - Work closely with other business partners and departments such as Corporate Sales Support Teams, Field Sales, HR, Finance and Legal for any compensation related matter. - Track plan performance, make business and comp plan recommendations and ensure compliance across sales teams. - Provide guidance and training to assigned territories on comp plan structures, commission reports or statements, policy, and other relevant processes. - Assist in monthly data entry/processing in compliance with the Compensation Plan. - Perform reconciliations between Field Sales, Commission, and Payroll files. - Ensure Sarbanes Oxley compliance during monthly processing. - Assist with commission statement reconciliation and audit to validate commissions and bonuses for calculations and payments. - Assist or participate in any commission related projects. SKILLS - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject. - 0-3 years experience. - Experience with Oracle or SAP Financials a plus. - Strong Excel skills; systems savvy. - Excellent communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Sense of urgency and accountability. - Ability to multi-task. - Excellent customer-service skills.
