Fired Up, Inc. has a Financial Analyst opportunity available in Austin, TX.

Fired Up, Inc. is the parent company of Carino’s Italian restaurants, with over 130 company and franchise stores located in 26 states across the US.

Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial forecasting activities, analysis of operational performance, reporting and interpretation of data, providing analytical support to senior leadership, and ROI analysis on various projects. You must be a strong communicator, have a strong work ethic, be able to manage several projects at once, be able to analyze data and provide conclusions and recommendations to management based on data analyzed, have exceptional Excel skills and be able to quickly master new computer systems and programs. This position reports to the CFO.

Qualifications Experience

·         Degree in accounting or finance

·         MBA or CPA preferred

·         A solid foundation in the practical application of financial forecasting, business planning, and analysis

·         Demonstrated competence in the maintenance and use of software tools for data extraction, manipulation, analysis and presentation

·         Extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

·         Ability to see the large picture yet master the myriad of details required for successful analysis

·         Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal negotiation skills

·         Successful experience working autonomously as well as within a dynamic team

·         A team player by nature.

Key Responsibilities

·         Provide analytical support and presentations to senior management to explain financial and operating results

·         Assist management in the interpretation of financial performance and identify opportunity areas for improvement

·         Analyze key performance drivers and financial/operational metrics

·         Perform all needed “ad-hoc” operational and trend analysis

·         Manage the periodic, quarterly and annual planning cycles

·         Manage the financial forecasting process

·         Work closely with the operating directors on a day-to-day basis to improve the business

·         Strategic planning and support

·         Prepare detailed break-even and ROI analyses on marketing and RD projects

·         Educate other Fired Up employees on financial metrics
