Financial Analyst, Group Finance recruitment
My client is a leading international banking group with an enviable reputation in the current economic climate.
They currently have an opportunity within their Business Analysis team within Group Finance. This is a high profile area with frequent exposure to Senior Stakeholders and is responsible for commentary and analysis on the performance of the business as a whole. The team also works closely with the group strategy function.
Duties include;
* Producing all analysis and commentary for allocated business units
* Verify and substantiate the accuracy and completeness of all internal and external publications
* Review and challenge submissions for the global business and regional MI teams
* Construct and maintain financial models
* High level stakeholder liaison
There is a separate team that crunch the numbers freeing this role up to focus on high level analysis and commentary as well as liaison with he business.
Candidate Profile;
* Qualified accountant with minimum 2 years PQE within an analytical role in finance
* Financial Services experience preferable
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical and commercial capabilities
* Proven influencing skills and the ability to build relationships
* Hyperion and TMI knowledge highly regarded
