Tri-Star Electronics, a member of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CarlisleIT) and a leading South Bay manufacturer of Mil-aero Components, has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst for our El Segundo manufacturing facility. Primary function for this position is to support the Accounting Department
Responsibilities include:
Accounting
• Fixed Asset reconciliation
• Capitalized Labor tracking
• CapEx Project tracking
• RD expense and time tracking
• Monthly GL Expense review
Financial Planning Analysis
• CapEx analysis / write-ups
• Tracking of COS savings
• Tracking and analyzing all cost saving initiatives (selective-plate conversion, cold-heading conversion, etc.)
• Production efficiency analysis / charts
• Bookings and backlog analysis / charts
• Daily statistical reports
• TSEE cost analysis
• Monthly revenue forecasting
• Working with IT department to develop specialized reports through ERP system
• Expense analysis (could be on a department level, material type, indirect GL expense accounts, etc.)
• Assistance in budgeting
• Create monthly raw material and component on-hand analysis (X-mas tree reports) and be involved in a monthly meeting where questions are asked of the responsible parties on what is being done about certain areas of concern.
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, 2 - 4 years’ experience in related industry, or 1-2 years as a business analyst or financial analyst. Must have experience in preparing reports using P.C. (Word, Excel) and Power Point presentations. Have strong interpersonal and organization skills, and ability to gather information from a variety sources.
