THE ROLE:
A Financial Controller role responsible for the financial management of an organisation with circa $150m revenue. The role will report directly to the Finance Director and will have a number of reporting lines regionally. This role is based in the APAC HQ. The role is a temporary to permanent position.
Responsible for the following:
- Ownership and responsibility of the end-to-end financial management of the organisation. Inclusive of financial transactions and deliverables management.
- Management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger teams.
- Supporting senior management and directors in wider business issues including effective strategic decision making.
- Ad hoc project management.
- Lead and manage all SOX requirements, identifying audit risks, analysing internal controls and ensuring compliance.
- Management of cost and profit centre structures to fit with the variable economic environment.
- Business partnering with all business units ensuring they all have meaningful reporting delivery on a monthly basis.
YOUR BACKGROUND:
- Previous experience within an IT or Telco industry as a Finance Manager or ideally a Financial Controller.
- Qualified accountant CA preferred.
- Must have previous people management experience, this role has 8 direct reports.
- SOX compliance experience.
- Strong communication skills are essential and you will need to be able to adapt to an ever changing environment.
- Ambition to grow within a global organisation is also a must.
