Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: Provides financial and analytical support to operations leaders through the provision of variance analysis, forecasting, administrative cost underwriting, new product modelling support, and other ad hoc analysis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Conducts quantitative analysis of financial data related to operating cost control, new and existing product development, and new business underwriting. Evaluate monthly operating cost results and provide support and guidance to operations regarding cost mitigation, staffing analysis, efficiency initiatives, and other analysis as needed. Leads the forecast and budget process related to operating cost for a business unit, working closely with operations partners in developing zero-based budget support and trend analysis. Prepares reports and participates in monthly financial reporting cycle. Ad Hoc analysis and other project work targeted to grow business knowledge and experience in multiple areas of company. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: BA/BS: Finance, Healthcare Administration, Accounting Experience: 5-8yrs.Health Care Financial Analyst: Provider Reimbursement or 3-5 years exp. with public accounting background.
