Financial Analyst / Modeller for Project in Global Law Firm
This client is a leading global law firm based in central London. They are undergoing a major change programme underpinned by a new financial systems implementation which improve the quality of financial reporting and control for the business. As part of this project my client has a requirement for an experienced financial modeller / FPA manager to join their project team with the prime responsibility of creating a new budget model that will link to the new financial systems and improve the budgeting process.
Specifically this role will be responsible for creating and agreeing a new firm wide process for budgeting using Excel. This will include the design, build and test of the budget, ensuring that the international finance managers and the group's finance managers are satisfied with the quality and effectiveness of the new budgeting tool. Finally this role will be responsible for obtaining sign off of the completed budget model by the group finance director.
My client is looking for candidates who have undertaken a similar project before and understand / have prior experience of the legal sector. To be able to undertake this effectively applicants will have advanced Excel including VBA skills. Critically applicants will have strong stakeholder and project management skills.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced analyst with strong project management skills to lead a critical piece of work for an internationally renowned law firm.
