Head of Financial Reporting/Risk
A growing business based in Lancashire who provide an innovative savings and loan facility to the people and businesses of Lancashire are looking to recruit a qualified accountant with a very specialist knowledge of the Financial Services Industry.
Reporting to the CFO and Chairman you will become an integral part of the senior management team. The business is currently in the process of obtaining a banking license from the FCA and the successful candidate will head this up by ensuring all policies and procedures are in place for it to be granted.
Other role responsibilities will include:
Ensure all compliance with industry guidelines legislation, Preparation of regular reports required by the FCA and PRA. Implementing policies and procedures in line with industry standards/codes. Developing regulatory controls in line with new banking status.
You will be the key liaison with management and employees concerning the financial and regulatory issues of the business. Management of a small finance team, preparing monthly management accounts, PL's, BS, cash flows and production of annual budgets. Daily production of the Key performance areas and making recommendations on areas of concern.
The successful candidate must hold a professional qualification and have extensive experience of the Financial Services Industry. You will have a keen eye for detail and have experience of implementing water tight policies and procedures.
