Financial and Business Modelling Manager recruitment
This Big 4 firm is looking for a manager to join their business modelling team which are based in the Sydney CBD. This is a newly created role through expansion and continued demand for the services of the advisory division.
The team works to understand and analyse the key commercial and financial drivers, and then design, build and review financial and business models to help understand the impact of different financial or commercial assumptions on bid price, cash position, profit, tax, financing structure or wider performance.
The Role
As a Manager your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest level of service delivery on a diverse range of model build and audit related engagements.
In addition, you will be part of a national training programme which is due to be rolled out where you will play a crucial part in the future development of the division and its staff.
On the technical side the role will cover the following aspects;
• Buy-side and sell-side MA and transactions modelling;
• Business case investment appraisal;
• Business planning and forecasting;
• Board and management reporting;
• Operational cash forecasting and reporting; and
• Data analytics and tactical business intelligence solutions.
About You
• You should have excellent business and financial modelling skills either from a professional services or financial services firm (ideally an investment bank or Big 4 accounting firm).
• Have experience of directly managing people including their training and development
