Financial and Management Accountant For Consultancy

My client is a global consultancy based in West London. The business is expanding and as a result they need to appoint an interim to strengthen the finance function in the medium term. There is a young, dynamic culture in this business which is a mixture of working hard and efficiently but also with a strong sense of camaraderie and enjoying your role.

This role is a split of both financial and management accounting. The role will involve preparing the management accounts and pack for the large EMEA region and providing a commentary for management on performance. However the primary responsibility for this role is financial accounting which will involve statutory accounting under UK GAAP IFRS, ensuring that issues relating to tax, audit and financial controls are all maintained.

My client is looking to appoint a qualified accountant to this role who has experience of financial and management accounting in an international business. It's essential to have experience of statutory accounting and familiarity with UK corporation tax and the audit process. Candidates must be strong technically but also have a good experience of management accounting and producing insightful commentaries. Experience of working on project accounting systems or an understanding of project accounting would be an advantage.

Applicants must want to work in a lively team and be able to commit to the duration of the contract.

If you would like to be considered for this role and can start at short notice please email your CV to me immediately for consideration.
