Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager recruitment
This high profile financial services organisation is currently seeking to recruit a Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager for its London office.
Although the role is an AVP level position, it is also an integral part of the finance department being the number 3 position in the team.
The role comprises 50% regulatory reporting and 50% financial reporting.
More specifically, you will prepare finance sections for regulatory reporting requirements across EMEA, respond to queries made by the regulatory authorities, prepare statutory accounts for EMEA countries, prepare interim financial reports for board directors, improve and develop new standardised monthly reporting formats for entity and regional analysis to assist financial reporting managers in their review, and assist with projects where required.
This role will allow you to develop strong relationships with corporate and regional business lines and support teams. It also offers excellent future career progression and the option to carve out a niche for yourself within the finance department.
To be considered, you must be ACA qualified with first time passes having trained with a Big 4 firm. You will have made a move into FS/industry post qualification and will have gained experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting or financial control. You must have a very strong academic background.
Most importantly, you will have a strong understanding of the current financial services regulatory environment and reporting requirements. You will have a genuine interest in financial markets and the regulatory issues that the industry is currently facing.
