The Organisation
We are working with a Public Sector Department and we are recruiting a number of auditors for them on a contract basis. They need individuals at many levels.
Responsibilities Duties include:
• You will also be involved in working with existing and new processes.
• You will be part of a team with an audit portfolio.
• You will report to head of audit.
• You will focus on continued evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls covering many areas including compliance, financial risk management.
The Individual
- You will be a Qualified auditor with 1+ year post qualification experience.
- You will have either internal or external audit experience with relevant regulatory knowledge.
- Experience of internal audit with public sector clients although not essential would be advantageous.
- You will have a solid understanding of risk and internal controls.
- You will have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- You have strong organisational and planning capabilities.
- You have the ability to work on own initiative and to provide guidance to others.
- You are experienced in working to deadlines.
- You have excellent computer-literacy skills.
- You have experience in a professional services firm.
