The Products and Services group of Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA) Finance has an opportunity for an experienced financial professional looking for a new and exciting challenge. The position will provide comprehensive analysis and reporting for the technology and operations cost of Wells Fargo Advisors. The responsibilities of the position will include: Developing new and/or enhancing existing models, reports, and workflows to allow for robust data analysis and timely delivery of information to customers such as the WFA CFO, BSG President and WFA CIO. Partnering with Technology and Operations Group (TOG) Finance to develop analytical analysis around internally sourced technology and operational support including application support and client mailings. Develop WFA level reporting on $450mm+ in expenses and provide clear, concise direction on how these costs relate to our Clients / Financial Advisors/ Products. Communicating concise, relevant, and actionable analysis to WFA management. Act as project manager for the build out of a new cost pool methodology for application spend and align them with the functions and utilities they provide. Maintain the integrity of the system once deployed. Leading and/or assisting in the facilitation of in-depth business analytics and ad-hoc financial reporting. Act as Subject Matter Expert on finance use of corporate wide metrics, as provided by the information Strategy Initiative. Assisting with other department initiatives as directed by the WFA CFO. Basic Qualifications: 4+ years finance experience. Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of financial modeling experience with the ability to produce under stringent deadlines 4+ years of advanced Excel and Access, previous experience with SQL. Advanced modelling skills, history of working with large data sets, experience with technology application billing 4+ years of strong analytical skills with attention to detail 4+ years of presenting business results to senior management, excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills: Previous experience in analyzing the cost of technology applications; including a deep understanding of required support (labor, infrastructure, storage, software/licenses) Retail Brokerage Experience Prior exposure to management reporting and corporate allocated costs Understanding of allocating costs to sales channels based on resources consumed Ability to demonstrate positive behaviors while performing job responsibilities
