Financial Control, Analyst recruitment
The Position
• Preparation of the monthly quarterly financial statements for the business.
• Preparation and review of intercompany trade transactions and resolve any trade mismatches across internal counterparties
• Liaise between Product Control, Operations and other areas of Financial Control both in Singapore and overseas to assets at risks issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Review of current processes and controls with the aim of streamlining them by leveraging off recent and future IT developments.
• Completion of the monthly report and other reconciliations and presentation at the monthly Letter of Representation meeting.
• Ensuring that all reporting is compliant with IFRS and Group reporting requirements.
• Ensuring relevant FC Controls are in place for month end, quarter end and year end reporting.
• Ad hoc projects such as reporting and process reviews and system testing.
The Candidate
• Qualified/Part-qualified accountant: CA, CPA (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge
• Ability to challenge process and put forward change solutions
• Demonstrate a broad outlook in life with an ambition for a career in an international environment
• Understanding of SAP, BW, Access and Excel other proprietary systems
• Detailed access database understanding would be a distinct advantage
