Financial Control Reporting Manager recruitment
Financial Control Reporting Manager/Contract/£550-650 per day
International bank is currently hiring for an experienced financial controller to join their London desk on a six month contract. The individual will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining a strong financial control framework across the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of three direct reporting and an offshore finance team
- Responsible for all UK statutory reporting and improving the control and reporting process.
- Ensuring consistency of IFRS policies and application of changes to disclosure requirements for the business.
- Identify and resolution of Financial Control issues or weaknesses.
- Be the point of contact for all other Finance teams and the desk.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience of managing a medium size Financial Control team.
- Relevant Financial Reporting experience in large financial services organisation ideally a Global Bank.
- Strong relationship management experience and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Extensive background working with IFRS standards and Statutory Reporting.
This is very high profile position that is very business facing, with many of the outputs going to the office of the CFO.
