An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a structured capital markets team space for one of the Global Top Tier Investment banks in London.

Our client requires a self motivated and hard working individual with past experience in financial services as you will be working in the financial and regulatory reporting team.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure branch reporting is performed within the timeline, including: reviewing sub ledgers, analytical review of balance sheet, signing off on controls, reserve settlements.
- Complete quarterly reporting for SCM Branch. Tasks include enriching external balance sheet and analysing balances for inclusion in the notes to the financial statements.
- Be the first point of contact of Bank of England (BoE) queries on SCM Branch. This includes provide enrichment of data maintained on manual models; respond to ad hoc queries from BoE reporting team in Singapore.
- Assist in the tax provision reporting of SCM Finance, including coordinating with deal controllers, posting journals, compilation of Provision schedule, liaise with central reporting team (MIS) on monthly Provision reporting, liaise with the tax team to obtain monthly sign off for SOX control purposes
- Prepare key schedules in the Letter of Rep pack that summarises results of Key controls performed. Present and summarise the results of the controls to the forum.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified accountant. ACA or equivalent.
- Good time management skills
- Excellent computer skills.
- Desire to provide top quality service.
- Self motivated and professional.
