Financial Controller – Global Reinsurance Firm – Dublin - €€€€
Our client, a global re-insurance firm is seeking a qualified accountant to join their finance team and assist the head of finance manage the day to day financial operations of the group. Due to a recent acquisition the company is expanding its global operation and would like to appoint a financial controller to the Dublin operation.
The main focus of your role will be to take responsibility for the management accounts for all the company’s locations preparing all necessary accounts and reporting to the senior management team
The ideal candidate will have the following skills experience:
- Holder of a professional accountancy qualification – ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA
- A min of 6 years plus PQE experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP along with tax requirements for the UK/US would be very beneficial but training will be provided.
- Strong reporting skills with a strong aptitude for technology
- Proficient in the use of accountancy systems to include excel
The salary is negotiable and will be based on relevant experience.
This is an opportunity to work with a rapidly expanding company who reward effort and commitment. There may be some travel required from time to time to Europe and the US. (Not extensive)
