Financial Controller
Financial Controller required for fast growing Fund Management Business
My client is a London based FCA authorised investment manager. The business was launched in 2009 and now has c.£300m of assets under management across four different strategies.
Due to the growth in the business, they are seeking a full time Financial Controller to:
- Run the day to day Accounting and Finance Function;
- Assist the Head of Finance strengthen the compliance environment around the four strategies; and
- Assist on HR and Company Secretarial matters for the two businesses.
This role would suit an individual who is looking for a hands-on role with a broad scope. Applicants should be qualified accountants with ideally, two years post qualification experience and be comfortable using different IT systems. The successful applicant must have excellent attention to detail, strong excel skills, be organised, personable, self-starting, and a team player. Previous knowledge of fund management businesses may be a benefit, but is not essential.
