FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

My client is an international company based in Brussels.
They are looking for a BeNL associate controller who will assist the Operational Controller in leading all aspects of local controlling and accounting in 5 companies in Belgium and The Netherlands. You will coordinate activities between their shared service center, the COE functions, and Business Finance. You will also maintain and monitor the local core finance processes.
For this role you have minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling in a large international company and you have experience with Shared Service Centres. You have a strong knowledge and experience with Belgian statutory requirements (BE-GAAP, statutory financial statements, tax calculations, VAT returns). You have experience with US GAAP or IFRS. You have experience with account reconciliations, accounting processes and control environment (design, execution, testing, remediation). Experience with SAP or another ERP system is required. You are willing to travel 1 to 2 days per month to the Netherlands. You are fluent in English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a big plus.
