This is an established fund manager with an excellent boutique but professional culture. Based in the CBD they have an impressive management team and well experienced highly respected Fund Managers.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller Company Secretary is responsible for everything from invoicing, banks recs through to management reporting, board reporting, attending board meetings and liaising with 'Big4' advisers and INSTO's. This is a 'top-to-bottom' role covering invoicing, payroll, board and management reporting, distributions, trust accounting as well as advice on some complex finance issues. You will be supported by one Trust Accountant.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with solid experience in funds management, financial management. Ideally you have worked in a boutique environment as well as having a pedigree from larger firms. You enjoy the broad exposure a small firm gives you. You pride yourself on being 'hands-on' but also able to add value at the senior level.

This will suit a candidate who wants to consolidate their experience into an effective 'Head of Finance' role for 2-3 years or would also suit a more mature candidate who wishes to work through to retirement. Either way, you have passion, energy, are hands-on and flexible in your approach.
