Financial Controller for a European Real Estate Fund recruitment
Our Client well known pan-European real estate fund is looking for a Financial Controller who will be based in Luxembourg.
Main responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for controlling, overseeing, and administering all financial, treasury, regulatory, legal and administrative functions of the Fund.
Responsible for managing a team (internal or external) to deliver the above functions, including developing the team.
Responsible for liaising with the Fund’s central administration, custodian bank, transfer agent, banks and auditors.
Responsible for ensuring the Fund’s contractual rights are asserted, and risks managed.
Requirements:
• 8 plus years of experience working in an international accounting environment either in public practice or industry with significant exposure to cross border transactions and tax planning.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS
• ACCA or CPA qualified
• Bachelor’s degree or Master degree
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure, deal with complex arguments and to influence decision making.
