Product Manager

My client is developing a market-leading global solution in the mobile banking arena. As Product Manager, you will define, help build and manage products and applications. You will participate in developing the product strategy and vision. You will develop product roadmaps and feature priorities and design requirements. You will manage the life-cycle of the product. The role is cross-functional-you will work with engineering, design, training, deployment, documentation, operations, finance, marketing and executive teams to bring products to market and to develop and grow business opportunities for my client. The goal is to provide clients with products that will attract and keep customers. As an experienced Product Manager, you will be expected to take on product management assignments with limited visibility or direction, and as required help to recruit and mentor other product managers. You must be willing and able to travel.

Key Responsibilities
*Develop business requirements and user scenarios to create a product specification.
*Lead the development of a product strategy and vision based on internal and external analysis and in conjunction with external partners and clients.
*Define effective product implementation and develop roadmaps based on product requirements, specifications, strategy and vision.
*Manage product priorities and trade-offs taking into account customer experiences, product performance and engineering support.
*Work closely with training, documentation and deployment to deliver clients the necessary tools and support.
*Work closely with design, program management and engineering to deliver an optimized product to clients and partners.
*Identify and resolve key issues to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
*Manage product launches and product lifecycles.

Qualifications
*7+ years of work experience in related positions with increasing responsibility.
*3+ years of work experience in mass market consumer products.
*Technical level of expertise necessary to work on the back-end and front-end of the product with the engineers to manage the product.
*History deploying technical applications and/or products.
*Strong experience and background in the financial industry essential, preferably in mobile banking.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office Professional Suite.
*MBA or equivalent preferred.
