Financial Controller: International Firm
This client is a leading international professional services / consultancy business based in the city. They have an opportunity to lead their finance team of circa twenty five people for an initial six months, which could result in a permanent opportunity. The finance team works closely with management, practice groups, partners and business services teams to assist the business in driving its strategy, profitability, cash flow and growth and this role will be critical to the success of this team.
The team consists of a mixture of qualified and non qualified staff reporting through five direct reports and covering statutory accounting, payroll, accounts payable, banking and management accounting. This role will be responsible for overseeing the management and performance of this team ensuring all external and internal reporting targets are met and that the finance operations function runs smoothly. This role will involve working closely with the group financial controller, group FPA manager and treasury as part of the finance leadership team.
To be considered for this role you must be a financial controller / financial managers who has led large teams (over 15) within a professional services environment such as consultancy, law, in house accounting practice etc and have an understanding of partnership accounts.
