Financial Controller – Investment Management recruitment

Accountabilities:
• To assist with the delivery of Annual Budget and Strategic Plan.
• To assist in the preparation and review of management information including board reports and monthly MI
• To run and manage the monthly consolidation process, ensuring the foreign subsidiaries are accounted for accurately.
• To provide accurate and timely financial and management information consolidated on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• To assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts
• To prepare the half-yearly FSA consolidation supervision returns and review impact of Solvency II

Person Profile:
Technical
• Qualified accountant -good technical knowledge of IFRS GAAP
• Excellent GCSCs including Maths and English (minimum Grade B) or equivalent and A levels
• University graduate (minimum 2.1)
• Asset Management experience and sound business knowledge
• Strong Management Information reporting experience – production of Board reports
• Strong use of a General Ledger including consolidation (desirable) and multi-currency reporting (desirable)
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting
• Strong PC skills particularly in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, SUN/Vision (desirable) Cognos Analyst (desirable)
