Financial Controller recruitment
Our client is a well known company in the Financial Services industry, with an opening for an experienced Financial Controller to join the core finance team.
The Candidate
Successful candidates should be a qualified ACA / ACCA professional who has gained experience of the Financial Services Industry, preferably in a 'Big 4' audit firm. They should possess a strong technical accountant background with a working knowledge of UK GAAP / US GAAP. The successful candidate needs to be a self motivated, high energy individual who excels in a high-pressure, hands-on
environment.
Responsibilities
*Responsible for the co-ordination, management and delivery of the monthly financial and credit reporting and external reporting requirements at half year and full year end.
*Statutory accounts for all statutory entities assigned to the Corporate Banking Financial Control team
*PL and Balance Sheet Line Item Management and Analytical Review
*Provide financial and analytical support as required to the financial controller and business partner.
*Contribute to the determination of appropriate financial control activities to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all financial and management reporting.
*Provide contingency/support for the Corporate Banking Financial Controller as required.
Key Competencies
Experience of leasing accounting and tax
Experience in Banking Industry an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP ledger system
