Financial Controller/Company Accountant
This Financial Controller's job is working for a leading distribution and retail business based in West Yorkshire. You will report directly into the Managing director heading up a team of 4 ( 1 Assistant Accountant, 1 Purchase Ledger Clerk , 1 Cashier and 1 Payroll clerk). The company is a growing distribution and retail business who are VC backed with a turnover of £25 Million. You will have to prepare the accounts pack to regular board meetings.
This Financial Controller job is ideal for someone wanting to take that next step up in your career and under guidance of the Managing Director who is big 4 trained the opportunity in 18 months to 2 years to become Finance Director
Duties Involve:
Preparation of Management Accounts
Complete control of the Nominal Ledger
Assisting with the Rolling Forecasts
Management of a team of 4
Year end preparation
Budgeting and Forecasting
Cashflow forecasting
The ideal candidate must be:
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Have experience in a fast paced environment
Is ambitious and keen to learn
Strong Excel skills are a Must
Experience of preparation of Management Accounts
Strong communication skills
Confident to be able to present to board
