Financial Crime Sanctions AVP

My client is a leading wealth manager with offices spanning the globe. Glasgow has become an operational centre of excellence, while the company offers excellent opportunities for those who wish to explore working in non-domestic locations.

Due to increasing regulation around compliance, a position has become available for a Financial Crime Sanctions Manager. This strategic compliance role will include the following responsibilities:

- Acting as a trusted advisor to support the Head of Sanctions
- Development of the global sanctions programme
- Introducing a single set of sanctions inline with the businesses risk appetite
- Acting as the primary contact for the management and investigation of serious incidents and breaches
- Monitoring oversight, and financial crimes investigations

You will possess excellent knowledge of global AML policies, in addition to understanding of UK, offshore and international banking requirements. Although not directly managing a team, you will have excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver complex programmes across disparate business lines. You will have experience operating in a Regulated Business Environment. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and be a self-starter requiring little direction. Strong influencing and presentation skills will also be highly regarded.

For a confidential discussion please contact Chris Walsh on 0141 566 8642 or 07875 971 285. Alternatively apply through this website.
