Fitch Ratings' North American Financial Institutions Group is seeking a Credit Analyst in our Chicago office. Successful candidates for this position should possess demonstrable abilities in developing and working with complex financial spreadsheets and databases.
- We are seeking an Analyst for our North American Financial Institutions Group. The position will involve assisting senior members of the Financial Institutions team on all aspects of the rating process. The Financial Institutions Group encompasses analysis of banks, securities firms, asset managers, consumer finance, commercial finance, leasing, mortgage companies, and GSEs. This position will primarily focus on supporting the U.S. banking team.
Primary duties include: developing and maintaining spreadsheets to enhance financial analysis and reports, assisting in related industry studies, and developing a working knowledge of Fitch's policies/procedures/rating methodologies.
The qualified candidate should preferably have at least 1 year of experience in the financial services industry. Must demonstrate strong excel skills, be a self-motivated professional who works well in a team environment, possess a good understanding of the financial services industry, and the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously. This position is based in Fitch's Chicago office.
