12 month fixed term contract
My client is a well established and recognised financial services organisation that is looking for a fully accredited and experienced Financial Intelligence Investigator to join their team in Birmingham City Centre.
Your role will be to investigate, secure, analyse and present evidence to the appropriate standards of proof through effective use of relevant legislation. Your duties will include:
· Planning and conducting financial investigations in relation to criminal confiscations, cash seizures, money laundering, asset recovery and financial intelligence.
· Conducting interviews face to face, securing and gathering evidence as necessary to facilitate court proceedings
· Liaise with stakeholder agencies and partners to promote referrals for further investigations
· Provide presentations and lectures to relevant parties
Essential Experience
· Must be a fully accredited Financial Investigator with a proven track record in investigations and intelligence development
· Must have a proven ability to present evidence in court
· Thorough understanding of the National Intelligence model
· Thorough understanding of current legislation
