City based asset manager is seeking an experienced Investment Writer to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, editing and shaping fund, economic and financial market commentary. The role will also be responsible for maintaining and managing a schedule of investment communications content for regular reporting requirements, marketing literature, articles for publications and other promotional mediums. The asset manager provides investment expertise across a full spectrum of asset classes including equities, fixed income, commercial property and cash. Capabilities range from index-tracking and active strategies to liquidity management and liability-based risk management solutions. We are at the forefront of developments in liability-driven risk management solutions for defined benefit pension schemes and offer a large variety of strategies to help our clients manage their investment objectives. Duties will include: Produce regular fund commentary for the range of active fixed income funds for use in quarterly institutional reports. Maintain an understanding of economic and market forecasts and produce regular market review and outlook commentary for use in regular reporting and promotional material. Create, edit and proof read content for marketing material with emphasis on high quality, compliant writing. Attend regular investment meetings and communicate themes back to broader sales marketing team. Act as a central contact point for investment commentary for different sales and client facing teams. Plan and initiate communication plans on fund/fund manager/market information for marketing and sales teams. Provide editorial oversight of the institutional suite of fund commentary and support the retail marketing team to ensure consistent market views. Coordinate and proof read content from external writers.
