Quantitative Analyst in Model Development, Copenhagen

In Model Development you will be responsible for developing and maintaining models and solutions for advanced financial derivatives risk management across all asset classes. These models are used for trading and hedging as well as for computing overall exposures and the attendant capital requirements. You will be working closely with trading and IT and also risk control in order to ensure successful delivery.

Advanced models for structured derivatives
Global Rates Trading and Product Development (GRTPD) is a division in Nordea Markets. We serve Nordic and major international corporate and institutional clients in all the Nordic countries as well as the Baltic region. To these clients we offer a full range of financial solutions, including structured and exotic instruments.

Model Development is the team behind the advanced models that GRTPD use to price and risk manage these instruments and is thus one of the main drivers behind the business.

Excellent technical and communication skills
The candidate must have an advanced degree (Ph.D. or M.Sc.) in a quantitative field such as mathematics, science, engineering or mathematical finance.

You should be experienced with, and have interest in, computer programming; we exclusively use C++.

You have the ability to focus and work in a hectic and challenging environment where priorities may change quickly and you have a strong focus on results and deliveries and excellent communication skills.
